KLCI 12 Sectors Index Update Date: 25/10/2020

  Technology

Technology Index touched uptrend channel line and formed a shooting star pattern, need to watch out for retracement.

Healthcare

Healthcare index formed doji sandwich pattern not a good signal. From indicators view, MACD and signal line are touching each other if bearish crossover not happening then we can expecting for a sharp reversal move here.

Energy

Energy index after breaks support continue to move south, bearish.

Finance

Finance index still within the downtrend channel and supported at 12300 level. It also formed bullish harami pattern can expecting for rebound.

Properties

Properties index recent bearish candle just breached the latest rebound movement most bullish candle, bearish.

Construction

Construction index support level was broken again, bearish.

Plantation

Plantation index remained inside the downtrend channel and just formed a bearish engulfing pattern. Watch out.

Consumer

Consumer index testing the new support level. Stochastic already bullish crossover but MACD still in negative momentum.

Utilities

Utilities index doing well for the past week, stochastic bearish crossover while MACD histogram started to moving lower expecting for retracement. If retracement didn't breaks the uptrend line then can look for opportunity.

 Telecommunication

Telecommunication index support level broken with very bearish candle, please watch out plus stochastic bearish crossover.

Industrial Product

Industrial Product index is testing the new support level and formed a small body candle. The retracement might end here and starts to move higher for next week. 

REITs

REITs index formed bearish engulfing pattern after a small rebound, bearish.

Transportation

Transportation index moving sideway.

Market Outlook Date:25/10/2020

  KLCI

KLCI is moving around the 1495 level that supported the market since September 2020.

MACD bearish crossover but the red histogram is small size so not that bearish for the moment.

If the MACD histogram remained small then we can looking forward for sideway movement.

On the other hand, stochastic just reached oversold level.     

DJIA

DJIA found an immediate support level at 28130 level, to go higher DJIA must break above the trendline.

From indicators view, MACD already bearish crossover but the MACD histogram also is small size so at the moment expecting sideway but need to monitor closely.

KLCI go below 1510 level again and might retest the 1480 level again. MACD and Stochastic not looking good better watch out.

DJIA

DJIA supported at MA10 but still failed to break the resistance level 28900. So far, MACD and Stochastic also in bullish zone. In case, form lower low then need to be careful.

Moving around the mid line of uptrend channel and above MA10.

Healthcare

Healthcare index breakout from the downtrend channel, seems like the correction phase already completed and ready to go higher.

Energy

Still in sideway but breaks below support not looking good.

Finance

Still within the downtrend channel if higher low is formed then it will retest the resistance of downtrend channel.

Properties

Formed a long bullish candle and breaks above the resistance level, looks good can catch some opportunities from this sector.

Construction

Moving sideway.

Plantation

Breaks below the uptrend channel. MACD and Stochastic also shown bearish crossover not looking good.

Consumer

Breaks support with long body bearish candle, watch out.

Utilities

Movement very small, sideway.

 Telecommunication

Moving sideway and testing the support level, the support level seems quite strong.

Industrial Product

Breakout from the sideway.

REITs

Doing badly.

Transportation

After breaks support, moving sideway.

Market Outlook Date: 08/10/2020

KLCI

Today KLCI breaks break the downtrend channel with a bullish long body candle. Before this breakout, KLCI moving sideway for 2 to 3 weeks without retest the downtrend channel lower line. This might indicate found support around 1500 and today breakout could signaling further upside movement.

DJIA

Yesterday, DJIA re-close inside the uptrend channel this is a bullish signal and supporter by technical indicators as well.  If tonight, DJIA formed another green candle above yesterday candle then we can expect DJIA to retest the uptrend channel upper line.
